Keith County Sheriff - Keith County Jail

We currently have a Chief Corrections Officer

1 Sergeant, 3 Female Correction Officers, 1 Male Correction Officer and three part time Matrons.

The corrections officers work a rotating schedule. They work four days on and three days off.

The jail is staffed 24-7,  seven days per week.

To visit an inmate - visiting days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Visiting Hours are from 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm

Inmates may have 2 hours per week, this can be all at one time or

in time increments up to the two hour limit.

Inmates are served three meals each day.

Breakfast is cereal, milk, juice and coffee

The noon meal and the evening meal are catered in to the jail and each meal represents the five food groups.

 Medication is served with meals.

Our jail has a capacity for 16 inmates. We have four cell blocks, two that hold four inmates and two that hold three, plus we have two holding cells.

Inmate Classification is:

• Sentenced

• Pre-Sentenced

• Sexual Offender

• Serious Crimes

• Work Release

• Suicidal

• Males

• Females

• Juveniles (16 years of age and older) can be held for a few hours.
